- NSN 1560-00-949-9414, PR 0019528206. Item: Deflector Assembly, P/N: 6-54850-6. The only approved sources for this item in regards to the specifications, plans or drawings relating to the procurement are: Sierra Tech (Cage 9U283), Intertrade Aviation & Logistic (Cage 08T729), Hill Industries (Cage 55064), Logistical Support LLC (Cage 1HEF7), or Northrop Grumman Corp (Cage 76823). DSCR does not currently have an approved technical data package for this item, nor can the information be furnished by the government. This procurement is suitable for competitive acquisition, however requires engineering source approval by the design control activity. Any manufacturer, other than Sierra Tech (Cage 9U283), Intertrade Aviation & Logistic (Cage 08T729), Hill Industries (Cage 55064), Logistical Support LLC (Cage 1HEF7), or Northrop Grumman Corp (Cage 76823), wishing to submit a proposal on this item must submit a complete source approval request (SAR) information may be found via http://www.dscr.dla.mil/sarguide.doc. This solicitation will result in a Firm Fixed Price and 100% Small Business Set-Aside contract for 36 each. This is a Critical Application Item. This item is subject to Configuration Control. Export Control and Government First Article Testing applies to this procurement. The First Article is due 274 days from date of award. Production line item delivery is 274 days after first article acceptance. FOB is Destination; Inspection and Acceptance is Origin. Delivery for this procurement will be STOCK. Automated Best Value System (ABVS) applies: the final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. This request is for a written quote. Please submit offers in writing. The solicitation issue date will be February 11, 2009 with a closing date of March 13, 2009. A copy of the solicitation will be available via the DIBBS Website https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/ on the issue date cited in the RFP.
