- DEPARTMENT OF VETERANS AFFAIRS (VA)WANTS TO LEASE SPACE The VA desires to lease 19,850 ANSI/BOMA office area square feet of space for use as a VA outpatient clinic in the Superior, Wisconsin area. The space must be on no more than one floor, but floors must be contiguous, and can be provided by new construction, or modification of existing space. On-site parking for 152 vehicles is required. A lease for up to 20 years will be considered. To be considered, space must be within or bordering a delineated area as follows: South - Bounded by Highway 105/Central Avenue/61st Street East - Bounded by Birch Avenue North - Bounded by Winter Street West - Bounded by Butler Avenue Offerors must provide evidence that properties are outside the 100-year flood plain. VA staff will conduct a market survey of properties offered for lease. Interested offerors (owners, brokers, or their legal representatives) should submit two (2) copies of specific information concerning their properties to Arlene Jorgensen Hillestad by mail, fax, or e-mail no later than 4:00 p.m. CST on February 6, 2009, at the following address: Department of Veterans Affairs One Veterans Drive, Bldg 68/90C Minneapolis, MN 55417 Telephone 612-467-2176 Fax: 612-467-2072 E-Mail: arlene.jorgensenhillestad@va.gov ANSI/BOMA office square feet does not include such areas as stairs, elevators, mechanical and utility rooms, ducts, shafts, vestibules and public corridors, and public toilets required by local code. The Government will pay no more than the appraised fair market rental value for space. RESPONDENTS ARE ADVISED THAT THE VA ASSUMES NO RESPONSIBILITY TO AWARD A LEASE BASED UPON RESPONSES TO THIS ADVERTISEMENT.
