Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number for this procurement is F2ETGL8324A001 and this is a Request for Quote. The anticipated award will be a Firm Fixed Price Contract. The award will be made based on the Best Value to the Government. The solicitation shall incorporate provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-28. This acquisition is set-aside 100% for Small Business. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 238290. The Small Business size standard for this code is $14.0M. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: ALL ITEMS MUST MEET DESCRIPTIONS: CLIN 0001: SUPPLY AND INSTALL TWO TON UNDER HUNG BRIDGE CRANE ASSEMBLY WITH CONTROL PANEL, PENDANT, FESTOON, AND BRIDGE ELECTRIFICATION. REINFORCE EXISTING STRUCTURE WITH ¼ x 4 x 4 VERTICAL COLUMNS. SUPPLY AND INSTALL 60' OF A w8 x 18 LB RUNWAY BEAM (TO ATTACH TO EXISTING STRUCTURE). Please include the New Mexico Gross Receipt Sales Tax rate of 5.8125%, applicable to labor only. CONTRACTOR SHALL PROVIDE ALL LABOR, TRANSPORTATION, PARTS, EQUIPMENT, SUPERVISION, AND OTHER SUPPLIES AND SERVICES NECESSARY TO PERFORM WORK, IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE ATTACHED STATEMENT OF WORK. HAFB 010 - SITE VISIT (DEC 2005) (a) In accordance with FAR 52.237-1, which is included by reference, states: "Offerors or quoters are urged and expected to inspect the site where services are to be performed and to satisfy themselves regarding all general and local conditions that may affect the cost of contract performance, to the extent that the information is reasonably obtainable. In no event shall failure to inspect the site constitute grounds for a claim after contract award." WAWF is a web-based tool for the processing of invoices/receiving reports. This will bring about major changes in the amount of time it takes to process these documents making payment much faster. The wearing of any other portable headphones, earphones, or other listening devices (except for hands-free cellular phones) while operating a motor vehicle is prohibited.
