- Description
- The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center (FISC) Norfolk, Contracting Department, Philadelphia Office, intends to acquire Court Reporting Services to support the Navy Litigation Office of the General Counsel, Washington, DC. It is intended that this requirement be solicited as a commercial item on a 100% Total Small Business Set-Aside. The successful contractor shall provide court reporting services, deposition rooms, transcripts, and compact discs (CDs) for depositions, and related proceedings held in CONUS and overseas by the Navy Litigation Office of the General Counsel, United States Navy, or by any person or persons designated thereby. The resultant solicitation shall include a twelve month base period base period and contain provisions for four (4) additional, consecutive, twelve (12) month option periods. This is a synopsis for commercial items prepared in accordance with the information in FAR Subpart 12.6, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures under the tes! t program for commercial items found at FAR 13.5. FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation - Commercial Items is applicable to this procurement. The Government intends to award, on a 100% Total Small Business Set-Aside basis, a firm-fixed-price contract to the eligible, responsible contractor whose quotation represents the best value to the Government, considering price and technical factors, with technical factors more important than price. The closing date for receipt of proposals will be established in the RFQ. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code and size standard are 561492 and $7M, respectively. The RFQ will be made available electronically upon its release at: https://www.neco.navy.mil on or around 15 days after the posting of this notice. All eligible, responsible sources may download the solicitation and submit a quote, which shall be considered by FISC. The Government will not pay for information received. Interested parties are solely! responsible for monitoring the above mentioned website for posting of the solicitation and any amendments thereto. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. Quoters must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database to be considered for award. Registration is free and can be completed on-line at http://www.ccr.gov/. Further, quoters are required to go on-line to the Business Partner Network at http://orca.bpn.gov to complete their online representations and certifications application (ORCA) prior to submittal of a quotation.
