- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared IAW the format in FAR subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested, and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT RESULT IN AN ORDER AGAINST AN FEDERAL SUPPLY SCHEDULE. ANY OFFER WHICH IS PREDICATED UPON THE AWARD BEING PLACED AGAINST AN FSS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED. The purchase of 1 Year Service & Repair, Brand Name Only Parts & Certified Repair, Noritsu color digital printer/processor Model DDP-621, SN 21980093; CT-2 consumer terminal, SN 22223176; S-1 high speed scanner, SN 21210424; and OM-2 media writer, SN 21990774. Price(s) should be FOB Destination (Robins AFB GA 31098). In addition to price and delivery, quote should include your cage code, DUNS number, and taxpayer ID number. Period of performance is 1 Feb 2009 through 31 Jan 2010. Mfr: Noritsu Justification for Brand Name Only: Noritsu America Corp is the original and sole manufacturer of the equipment and parts in use. The parts for this processor are absolutely not interchangeable with any other model of photo processor that may appear to be similar to the Noritsu in use. This makes them unique. The brand name equipment must be maintained to specified tolerances for optimum operation that only a certified technician skilled in working on this particular model of Noritsu processor can provide. FAR 52.222-41 Service Contract Act of 1965 (Nov 2007) (41 USC 351, et seq). In accordance with Clause 52.212-2, the evaluation factors shall be price and price related factors. IAW FAR 52.212-3, Reps/Certs should be completed on-line at www.bpn.gov. Oral procedures will be used for this solicitation.
