- This is an annual synopsis of repair basic ordering agreement (BOA) N00104-08-G-A751 with Erie Forge and Steel Inc., Erie PA and serves as the pre-solicitation synopsis for all repair orders issued by the NAVICP for the period 2008 Nov 01 thru 2009 Oct 31 for the evaluation and repair of Navy Propulsion Shafts for all classes of Navy Ships. Some representative NSNs are as follows: NSN 2S 2010-00-856-6906, AOE 1 Propeller Shaft; NSN 2S 2010-00-238-9916, Propulsion Shaft; NSN 2S 2010-00-068-0224, AS 33 Propeller Shaft; NSN 2S 2010-00-389-6849, LHA Propeller Shaft and NSN 2S 2010-01-141-3637, LSD 41 Propeller, Shaft. Individual orders exceeding $25,000.00 will be synopsized pursuant to FAR subpart 5.3. Orders issued under this BOA and pursuant to this synopsis will be issued pursuant to 10 USC 2304 (c)(1) because the Government does not currently possess the data necessary to compete the items solicited hereunder. Guidance in NAVICP solicitation language identified as LA27LN, Alternative Products Offered, applies to companies expressing an interest in supplying these items.
