Description
THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION ONLY - A SOLICITATION WILL FOLLOW LATER. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Orlando VA Medical Center (VAMC), has identified a requirement for two on-site manufacturer certified technicians to maintain PBX systems and assist with moves, adds and changes (MAC) at Orlando VAMC Lakemont Campus and affiliated VAMC facilities located in Central Florida. In support of the Department of Veterans Affairs' "Veterans First Contracting Program", IL 049-07-08, June 19, 2007. http://vaww1.va.gov/oamm/oa/ars/policyreg/ils/index.cfm. We are conducting this market research to determine potential Service-Disable Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) and Veteran-Owned Small Business (VOSB) relative to NAICS 811213 (size standard of $7.0 Million) capable of providing Private Branch Exchange (PBX) System Maintenance. Interested SDVOSB and VOSB firms, should submit a written Narrative Capabilities/Experience Statements and annual Financial Reports to the Contracting Office listed below no later than 4:30 P.M. Tuesday, January 20, 2009. Current PBX system types are NEC 2400 IPX, NEC 2000 IPS, Comdial, and Lucent Partner Plus. All PBX power systems are supported with a battery backup. The contractor will be required to provide all labor, management, tools, supplies and equipment and transportation required to fulfill this requirement. Primary place of performance for the two on-site technicians is the Orlando VAMC Lakemont Campus, 2500 Lakemont Ave, Orlando, Florida, 32803. Contractor travel cost to the Orlando VAMC Lakemont Campus and affiliated facilities within a 50 mile radius of the Lakemont campus will not be reimbursed. Approved travel outside the 50 mile radius of the Lakemont Campus. It is the intent of the VA Medical Centers to enter into a contract with a single provider for all services required for one base year and two one-year option periods.
