- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This Request for Quotation (RFQ), HSCG84-09-Q-319003, incorporates FAR provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-28. This is a total small business concern set-aside procurement. Offers from small business concerns only will be considered. The applicable North American Industry Classification (NAIC) code is 721110 and the small business size standard is $6.5M. An award will be made using simplified acquisition procedures, in accordance with FAR Part 13, as a firm fixed price purchase order. DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENT: CLIN 1. Provide lodging, 45 Single-Occupancy Rooms per day, from 4/13/2009 (check-in) through 4/17/2009 (check-out); CLIN 2. Provide one (01) room as an office that can accommodate no more than 8 people, with internet hook-up, phone, and fax capabilities, from 4/14/2009 through 4/17/2009; CLIN 3. Provide four (4) Breakout Rooms that can seat up to 30 individuals in a classroom style arrangement, with tables and chairs, from 4/14/2009 through 4/17/2009; CLIN 4. Provide a main Conference Room that can seat 85 individuals in a theater-style arrangement, with chairs and tables. It shall also include a podium, a pull-down screen, a projector, and a microphone. If main conference room cannot accommodate 85 individuals, provide an overflow room with audio/video feed from the main conference room. This CLIN is required from 4/14/2009 through 4/17/2009. CLIN 5. Provide meals on the following dates/times: Working Dinner - April 14, 2009, for 85 individuals; Working Lunch - April 15, 2009, for 85 individuals; and Working Lunch - April 16, 2009, for 85 individuals. Each meal shall consist of: 1 entrée, soup, salad, dessert, and a beverage. Include the menus with your quote. All CLINs must be co-located in one site and within 17 miles of the Norfolk International Airport, Virginia. The Coast Guard will evaluate quotes/offers and will make an award resulting from this solicitation to the responsible vendor whose quote/offer conforms to this solicitation and is determined to be most advantageous to the Government based on ability to meet basic requirements, delivery, and price.
