- Description
- Gage Calibration, maintenance, minor repair, cleaning and preservation for Manufacturing Facility 100, Cairo, Egypt. Includes standard measuring and test equipment and special/hard gages. There are a wide variety of complex gages and test equipment with tight tolerances. Work is required in two approximately five week time periods in March and September of each year. There will be strict time deadlines for the work to be completed. This will be a best value contract. Vendor will be required to submit a proposal describing how they would do this work and document at least five years experience in gage calibration and experience doing business in Egypt. This will be a one-year contract with an option year. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore, hardcopies will not be provided. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above internet address in order to obtain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for bid opening/receipt of proposals may render your bid or proposal nonresponsive and result in the rejection of same.
