- The proposed contractual action will be Firm Fixed Price to acquire commercial the following off-the-shelf computer and monitors: Purchase fifty (50) computers and monitors (40 with 19 monitors for normal use, 10 with 22 monitors for use where improved graphics capabilities are required). Computer specifications must be exactly as follows: upgrade to Intel E8400 (3.0GHz) Processor, upgrade to 4GB of RAM, 250GB Hard drive upgrade, and Dual Head video card. All upgrades are standard in the CB process and add to the longevity of the hardware. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release of the solicitation; however, the solicitation will not close prior to the closing date stated above by 8:00 a.m. cst. Foreign Firms are reminded that all requests for solicitation must be processed through their respective embassies. No telephone requests for solicitation will be accepted. Requests for solicitation will be data faxed, email or by mail ONLY. PROPOSALS WILL ONLY BE ACCEPTED BY MAIL OR EMAIL, NO DATAFAX WILL BE ACCEPTED. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.
