- DESCRIPTION: The VA Nebraska-Western Iowa Health Care System, Omaha Division is soliciting bids for the procurement of leadership development research and consultant services to foster the implementation of the Nebraska-Western Iowa (NWI) Way throughout the organization. The NWI Way incorporates ownership, leadership and value improvement and is the cultural framework for NWIHCS. The primary focus of the contract will be examining and promoting, via various developmental interventions including authentic and transformational leadership behaviors the elements of ownership and leadership at all levels across the NWIHCS organization. The contractor must be an established leadership development company experienced (5 years) developing and implementing transformational leadership programs with government hospital staff. Cost/price will be significantly less important for evaluation purposes than the technical ability of the company. THIS PROCUREMENT IS UNRESTRICTED. The applicable NAICS is 611710. Size standard for small business is 7 million. The solicitation will be ready for download on or about January 9, 2009. Proposals should be submitted by mail ATTN: William R.
