Description
The National Center for Research Resources (NCRR) is conducting this market survey to identify small businesses with the capability to provide services in the Information Technology sector for an upcoming solicitation. Specifically, NCRR is looking for the market availability of the following needs: A vendor who has a successful record of achieving CMMi Level 3 verified by an independent SCAMPI auditor on information technology projects. Does the labor market of IT professionals (requirements analysts, programmers, database administrators, and Web developers) have a minimum 3-5 years experience in UML techniques and CMMi practices? A vendor who will provide expertise in the development of software applications that receives Grant information through xml exchanges and cold fusion web applications and processes and stores information in Oracle databases. The vendor will also have experience in applying sound project management principles to ensure that end user requirements are met, scheduled tasks are completed, and costs are contained within baseline project documents. The applicable NAICS code is 541511 and the size standard is 500 employees. It is anticipated that one award will be made for a period of 5 years. The contract will be a cost-reimbursement, completion-type. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS (RFP) AND NO RFP IS AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. Small businesses who possess the specific capabilities listed in this sources sought announcement must submit an original and three copies of a capability statement to this office by 4:00 PM EST on February 17, 2009. The capability statement should provide pertinent documentation showing that the company can meet the requirements listed above. Capability statements should be at least 10 pages, but may not exceed 15 pages, including documentation. All information submitted in response to this notice must arrive on or before the closing date and time. Capability statements should be submitted to the following address: Lawrence M.
