- Description
- Solicitation 8009-11 provides for Single Engine Air Tanker (SEAT) flight services, which are fully contractor operated and maintained, in support of the US Forest Service fire suppression program at John Day, Oregon. The airplane will be based at Grant County Airport, John Day, OR. 6 days per week (no relief required). The exclusive use period will be July 6, 2009 - September 11, 2009; 60 calendar days. The contract period will be one year from date of award with a government unilateral option for four additional years. The contract requires a single turbine engine powered agricultural airplane with a payload of at least 500 US gallons of material weighing 4,600 pounds. The Contractor shall possess an Agricultural Aircraft Operations Certificate issued under 14 CFR Part 137. The anticipated issue date of the solicitation is January 26, 2009.
