Description
THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. THERE WILL NOT BE A SOLICITATION, SPECIFICATIONS, OR DRAWINGS AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Europe and Southwest Asia is seeking firms capable of performing Construction and Design/Build services via an indefinite-quantity Multiple Award Construction Contract (MACC). This contract is intended for services to be performed in support of construction for Contingency and Humanitarian Assistance effort in Africa. The main focus of this effort is in countries that border the Gulf of Guinea and the Horn of Africa, but not limited to these countries. It is anticipated that the period of performance will be for a one (1) year base period and four (4) one year option period. The total estimated Not to Exceed amount for the life of this action is $50,000,000. The vision is that the prime contractors will perform management and oversight, with a focused effort on Quality Control, while subcontracting the performance of the construction to local firms. It should be noted that average project values under this program range from $5! 0,000 to $200,000. This synopsis is a market research tool being used to determine the availability and adequacy of potential sources. The Government is not obligated to and will not pay for any information received from the potential sources as a result of this synopsis. It is requested that interested businesses submit to the Contracting Officer a brief capabilities statement package (no more than 10 pages in length, single spaced, 12 point font minimum) demonstrating ability to perform the requested services. The documentation should address the following: (1) Relevant Experience; value, size, and scope within the last five (5) years including contract number, indication of whether your firm acted as a prime or subcontractor, contract value, Government/Agency point of contact and current telephone number, and a brief description of how the contract relates to the technical services described herein. (2) Company Profile to include number of employees, office locati! on(s), available bonding capacity per contract. Brochures may also be submitted. All responses must include the following information: Company Name; Address; Business Size; and Point of Contact name, phone number, fax number, and e-mail address. The capability statement package may be sent by mail to: NAVFAC EURSWA, ATTN: David Leigh, PSC 817 Box 51, FPO, AE 09622 or by email to David.Leigh@eu.navy.mil.
