NOTICE OF PROPOSED CONTRACT ACTION Action Code: Synopsis STUMP GRINDING - TREE MANAGEMENT SERVICES AT SAM RAYBURN LAKE AND TOWN BLUFF LAKE (Control No. W9126G-09-T-0027) NAICS: SIC: 561730 Primary POC: DeYon Francis Secondary POC: Keith Cook Solicitation Number: W9126G-09-T-0027 This notice serves as a synopsis for the upcoming commercial solicitation, number W9126G-09-T-0027, for the Stump Grinding, Tree Removal and Tree Pruning at Sam Rayburn Lake, Jasper, Texas and Town Bluff Lake, Woodville, Texas. The forthcoming solicitation shall include, but is not limited to, furnishing all equipment, materials, transportation and labor necessary to perform Stump Grinding, Tree Removal and Tree Pruning at Sam Rayburn Lake, Jasper, Texas and Town Bluff Lake, Woodville, Texas The period of performance shall coincide with that reflected in the attached scope of work. The proposed contract type is firm-fixed priced. While price will be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final contract award will be based on pricing.. The Government reserves the right to weight technical competency greater than past performance or past performance greater than technical; however, technical and past performance shall not be weighted greater than price. Firm evaluation criteria shall be stated in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) provision 52.212-2. The solicitation shall be available on or about February 4, 2009. The anticipated award date is on or about February 27, 2009. The solicitation will only available for download via the Federal Business Opportunities ( www.fedbizopps.gov ) website and Federal Technical Data System ( www.fedted.gov ). The NAICS is 561720, and the Business Size Standard is $7 million. The acquisition is being solicited 100% small business. Those who wish to express and interest in the solicitation may submit their information to DeYon Francis, Contract Specialist at deyon.a.francis@usace.army.mil. All requests must be submitted in writing. REQUESTERS MUST STATE BUSINESS SIZE ON EACH REQUEST AND PROVIDE Central Contractor Registration (CCR) CAGE CODE, FAX NUMBER and EMAIL ADDRESS. Small business, HUBZone small business, Woman owned small business, Service Disabled Veteran Owned small business, Veteran Owned and small disadvantaged small businesses are encouraged to submit offers. Once the solicitation is issued, offers are to be sent to the United States Army Corps of Engineers, 819 Taylor Street, Suite 2A19A, Fort Worth, Texas 76102-0300, no later than February 24, 2009 by 12 PM Local Time, or not later than the date/time in BLOCK 8 of the SF1449 of the solicitation).
