Description

Supply: The Air Force intends to issue a sole source award to Cytec Engineered Materials, for the following product: 500 yards of CYCOM 2249/7781 38" Black Pre-Impregnated Cloth. This material is required by TO 1B-1B-2-21GS-00-1. The item # is 22500237 with specifications 17041G7781, REV F. The estimated award date is 11 February 2009. The NAICS code for this requirement is 313320 with a size standard of 1,000 employees. THIS IS SOLE SOURCED TO CYTEC ENGINEERED MATERIALS DUE TO PROPRIETARY RIGHTS. Central Contractor Registration (CCR) is required to receive any award. Contractors can register electronically at http://www.ccr.gov. ORCA registration is also required and contractors can register electronically at https://orca.bpn.gov. The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals will be considered within five (5) days after the publication of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Authority is 10 USC 2304 (c) (1).
