Description
The 5th Contracting Squadron intends to solicit competitively for Night Facility Monitor Service for the Education Center at Minot AFB, North Dakota. The contractor shall provide Non-personal services in support of U.S. Air Force voluntary off-duty education program for the Base Training and Education Services (BTES) Facility Monitor (FM). The FM will provide the BTES personnel with access and equipment control in accordance with office policies and procedures. Access responsibilities include opening and closing BTES facilities for early morning, evening and weekend use. Equipment control responsibilities involve monitoring audio-visual, computer and other support equipment use IAW established procedures. The Contractor shall perform in accordance with standards outlined in the Performance Work Statement. A Firm-Fixed Price Performance-Based contract will result from this posting, with services to commence on or about 1 April 2009. The performance period of this contract shall consist of one base year and four (4) option years, for a total of five years. There is no guarantee that options will be exercised. This action is set-aside 100% for Small Business concerns. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 531312 with a small business size standard of $2 million. The successful contractor will be selected using Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) procedures, representing the best value to the Government. The entire solicitation will be made available on or about 9 February 2009, via the Federal Business Opportunities web page at https://www.fbo.gov/. No paper copies will be issued. Potential offerors are responsible for monitoring this site for release of the solicitation package and any amendments.
