Description

This project consists of the repair of deteriorated pavements on Whiteman Air Force Base Missouri. This may require the complete rebuilding of certain streets, parking lots, and driveways as well as the installation/repair of jogging trails, bike trails cart paths and sidewalks. This may include the removal of existing asphalt and base materials and replacement with new. Other work will include pavement marking, excavation, backfill, concrete curb, gutter, drainage, structures, seeding/sod, surveying and staking. This contract will consist of one basic year with four option years. This project will be an indefinite delivery indefinite quantity type contract. The contract magnitude is more than $10 Million. This procurement is unrestricted. The applicable NAICS is 237310, Highway Street, and Bridge Construction. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be issued electronically on or about March 19, 2009 on the FedBizOpps posting system. No paper copies of this solicitation will be available. All contractors must be registered in the Department of Defense Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to any contract award. Registration can be accomplished at the following Internet site: http://www.ccr.gov.
