- NAICS Code: 541511 The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Office of Environmental Information (OEI) intends to issue a sole source purchase order to RSA Security Inc. for a customized version of the B-Safe Crypto J JCE encryption licenses. The following information details thenon-standard use of the licenses- Field of Use for RSA Software: Customer may only use the RSA Software, in object code, within the Licensed Product below to i) encrypt using public key of EPA using widget/client, ii) Transmit to EPA via client/widget Web Service, iii) Decrypt and store in databases, iv) Re-Encrypt using public key of user and return back to the user as a receipt. Platform Limitations: Customer may only use the RSA Software on commercially supported JDK platforms generally supported by RSA. A commercially available platform excludes platforms that (i) are customized platforms that were created through an RSA professional services engagement for an additional fee; or (ii) any platform developed by a third-party and bearing a royalty fee to RSA. Maintenance service of these licenses is to be provided and the enhanced support includes: Patch, maintenance & major releases, technical telephone support, 24X7X365; access to SecurCare Online; and critical account escalation management. RSA is the manufacturer of these licenses and does not resell their customized version of the B-Safe Crypto J JCE Project Use encryption licenses. The NAICS code for this procurement will be 541511. NO SOLICITATION OR REQUEST FOR QUOTE (RFQ) IS AVAILABLE. Notwithstanding, any firm who believes it is capable of meeting EPA's requirement as stated herein may submit a response, which if received within 10 calendar days of the date of this announcement, will be considered. Responses to this posting must be in writing. A determination not to compete the proposed requirement based upon this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
