- NASA/LaRC has a requirement for a Digital Control Valve with the followingspecifications: Valve body designed for a MAWP of 5000 psig Valve body designed for a Temperature range: -20 - 300 F Process Conditions: Process Temperature Max: 300F Inlet Pressure P1 Max: 4000 psig Inlet Pressure P1 Min: 3000 psig Outlet Pressure P2 Max @ P1 Min: &lt; 2400 psig Outlet Pressure P2 Min: 100 psig Process Connection Inlet: 3 Grayloc Outlet: 3 Grayloc Field Connections: Pneumatic Interface: 90 to 110 psig Electrical Enclosure: Nema 4 Input Power: 100-240 Vac Electrical Solenoid Interface: 24-30 Vdc Fail Safe: Close Hydrostatic Pressure: 7500 psig Perform subsonic and sonic calibrations traceable to NIST Instrumentation; Inlet Pressure Transducer Accuracy FS: 0.05 %, Quantity: 1 Outlet Pressure Transducer Accuracy FS: 0.05 %, Quantity: 1 Inlet Temperature Transducer Accuracy FS: 0.12 %, Quantity: 1 Integrated Control Hardware: cFP-1804: 4-slot Ethernet/Serial Interface cFP-AIO-600: 12 bit AI/AO Module cFP-DO-401: Digital Output Module Control hardware installed and wired into Nema 4 enclosure System I/O includes analog input (V or mA) for mass flow or outlet pressure setpoint. System I/O includes analog output (mA) of mass flow and selected valve sensors Provide following hardware, software, and documentation:Power supply, internal connector blocks, system I/O connector and cable, networkconnector, power supply.Schematic and wiring documentation of digital control valve.Window desktop computer preloaded with digital valve software to be included.This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared inaccordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additionalinformation included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the onlysolicitation, which is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ); quotes are beingrequested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Offerors are required to usethe On-Line RFQ system to submit their quote. The On-line RFQ system is linked above orit may be accessed at http://prod.nais.nasa.gov/cgi-bin/eps/bizops.cgi?gr=C&pin=. Theinformation required by FAR Subpart 12.6 is included in the on-line RFQ.The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12 and the SimplifiedAcquisition Procedures set forth in FAR Part 13.Questions regarding this acquisition must be submitted in writing (e-mail is preferred)no later than February 10, 2009. It is the quoter's responsibility to monitor this sitefor the release of amendments (if any).
