Description

This is a proposed sole source acquisition with Fresenius Medical Care Holdings Inc., Biloxi, for nonpersonal hemodialysis services for Keesler Air Force Base (KAFB), Mississippi. The period of performance will be a base period of 1 Mar 09 to 30 Sep 09 and four one year option periods to extend for a total of 66 months. The solicitation will be posted to http://www.fedbizopps.gov/ on or about 5 Feb 09. The applicable NAICS code for this acquisition is 621492 and the small business standard is $34.5 million. The government anticipates award of a firm-fixed price contract as a result of the solicitation. The solicitation may be downloaded from FedBizOpps, since copies of the solicitation will not be available for mailing. All prospective offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry (CCR) prior to award of contract with any DoD agency. Registration may be accomplished at http://www.ccr.gov.
