- Description
- The Central Veterans Alabama Healthcare System (CAVHCS), Montgomery, AL, VISN 7, has requirement to provide scarce medical specialist healthcare resources services in the form of oncology services to include hospital visits, inpatient consultations for Oncology & Hematology, outpatient clinic, chemotherapy, and radiation oncology services. Contractor shall provide supplies and services necessary to process patients and perform chemotherapy and radiation oncology at the contractor's site. Only quotes received from contractor, with a facility, located within a fifty (50) miles radius of Columbus, Georgia will be considered. Contractor will provide transportation, as appropriate, to contractor's site for referred veterans with a 50-mile radius of the contractor's site. The NAICS code is 621111. The size standard is $10.5 million. This solicitation will be unrestricted acquisition. The Government anticipates award of a commercial firm-fixed price contract to the responsible offeror provides the best value to the Government and is expected to include a base period, with four one-year options exercised at the government discretion. The solicititation number for this RFP is VA247-09-P-0037. The Solicitation will be issued o/a 18 February, 2009 and will be issued via Fed Biz Opps Electronic Posting System at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. The procurement will be conducted using the procedures at FAR 12 and 15. Proposals will be evaluated on Experience and Staffing, Timeliness, Location, Past Performance and Cost. One (1) award will be made to the offeror that provides the best value to the government. All qualified offerors/firm who believe they can satisfy the solicitation requirements are invited and encouraged to provide their proposal. All questions must be in writing and may be emailed to kim.shelton@va.gov. The Offeror is responsible for downloading all documents including amendments at the website listed above, without further notification from the VA Contracting Officer. Contractors must be registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR) at www.ccr.gov and Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) at https://orca.bpn.gov/login.aspx, prior to award of a contract. Proposals must be submitted in writing to the issuing office, be in accordance with the preparation instructions outlined in the solicitation, and be timely. No telephone requests will be accepted. Offerors are advised that they are responsible for obtaining amendments.
