- There is no solicitation. The United States Fish and Wildlife Service, Contracting and General Services Division in Portland, OR has plans to award using other than full and open competition to Seafood Innovations of Queensland Australia for the following item: SI-5FM-M3-B Brood Stock Stunner with short head plate for the Quinault National Fish Hatchery in Humptulips Washington. Seafood Innovations is the only known supplier of a patented pneumatic-percussive fish stunner with a machine that is particularly suited to the human euthanizing of brood salmon and other species. The Service intends to award Sole Source to Seafood Innovations of Queensland Australia. This synopsis is a notice of intent to issue award using other than full and open competition and is not a request for competitive proposals. The determination of the Government not to open subject requirement to full and open competition was made IAW FAR 6.302-1.
