Description: The 6th Contracting Office is soliciting a requirement for Hotel Lodging and Conference rooms rental for CHOD Conference, located within downtown Tampa Fl. Please refer to the attached requirements sheet for the requirement specifics. The procurement is a competitive 100% Small Business set aside will result from this solicitation. The Government will award one (1) contracts to fulfill this requirement. The performance period from May 1, 2009 to May 7, 2009. This acquisition will be solicited using FAR part 12 (Commercial Item, 12.203). The government will evaluate the competitive offers by using the Best Value evaluation procedures. The applicable North American Industry Classification Systems Code (NAICS) is 721110 and the related small business size standard is $7 million. A Firm Fixed Price Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract will derive from this solicitation and all work shall be performed under individual task orders. The response date for this solicitation is Feb 20, 2009 at 12:30 pm Eastern Standard. Notification of any revisions to this solicitation will be provided via the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website at http://www.fbo.gov. Procurement documents will not be directly provided in a paper hard copy format or compact disc format. It is the responsibility of the contractor to check the FBO website daily for any posted revisions made to the solicitation. The solicitation will available for all interested parties to download from the FBO website. The closing date, time and submission, and site visit information will be included in the solicitation document. By submission of an offer, the offeror acknowledges that a prospective awardee must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database at http://www.ccr.gov prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation.
