Description

The Department of State contemplates the award of a sole-source contract to Trans Digital Technologies located at 1235 S Clark St. Arlington, VA 22202 for the purchase of consumables (secure film, ribbons and coating), and the related technical services and replacement parts to support Toppan MP300US passport printers currently in use at the 19 domestic passport agencies and centers over the next five years. This procurement also includes the purchase of additional passport printers to support current and new passport facilities. The authority for this action is FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Attached is a copy of the justification and approval for other than full and open competition for this procurement. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive proposals. This is for informational purposes only; please contact the primary point of contact on this announcement via e-mail to submit any inquiries. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. No phone calls will be accepted and voice mail messages will neither be acknowledged nor returned.
