Description

The Social Security Administration (SSA) intends to issue a Purchase Order to Help/Systems, LLC, 6533 Flying Cloud Drive, Eden Praire, MN 55344 for the purchase of maintenance and support for StandGuard Anti-Virus software version 5.31 for the period of April 1, 2009 to March 31, 2010. This software maintenance is currently known to be available only through Help/Systems, LLC. This software is used on the AS-400 (iSeries) computers and is vital to receive the current virus signature file updates that may be threatening to the production activity. All responsible sources that believe they are capable of meeting the SSA’s requirements may submit a capability statement, which shall be considered by the agency. If the SSA does not identify other acceptable sources capable of providing this requirement, SSA may issue a sole source award under FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This is NOT a Request for Quote, and the Government will not pay for information submitted. Responses to this notice must be submitted in writing via e-mail to the point of contact listed below by February 13, 2009. NO PHONE CALLS OR FAXES WILL BE ACCEPTED.
