Description

Note: Please see attachments to view this combined synopsis/solicitation in its entirety. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number HSCG80-09-Q-3NKM04 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). HSCG80-09-Q-3NKM04 and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 05-30. This requirement is being solicited as a Total Small Business Set-aside using Simplified Acquisition Procedures per FAR Subpart 13. The Small Business Size Standard for NAICS 336611 is less than 1,000 employees. This requirement is for a firm-fixed price contract. The anticipated award date is on or about February 27, 2009. Work covered by this solicitation shall be completed within five (5) calendar days from the date the vessel becomes available to the contractor. The availability is scheduled to start on March 9, 2009 and end on March 13, 2009. The Place of Performance will be at the home moorings of the USCGC Dependable located at 1 Munro Ave, Cape May, NJ 08204-5086. The government intends to award from this solicitation to the responsible vendor whose quote conforming to the solicitation provides the best value. Quotations may be sent via the US Postal Service or hand delivered to: US Department of Homeland Security, US Coast Guard MLC Atlantic (vpl-1), Attn: Tomeka Evans, 300 E.
