- Description
- The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) has a requirement to provide janitorial services at Piedmont Triad International Airport (GSO) for TSA Occupied and Checkpoint space, located in Greensboro, NC This is a notice for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The Request for Proposal number is HSTS01-09-R-RES224. This solicitation and subsequent contract award incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-28. Pursuant to FAR 19.501, this acquisition is a tiered total small business set-aside for award consideration using the following order of preference within the small business category: HUBZone, SDVOSB and then all other small businesses. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 561720 and the small business size standard for this NAICS code is $15.0 million dollars in annual receipts. All responsible sources considered a small business under this NAICS code are eligible to respond to this solicitation. The Transportation Security Administration intends to award a firm fixed price contract with one base year and two (2) one year option periods on a competitive basis to one responsive and responsible offeror. The offerors shall be considered responsible as defined within the meaning of FAR 9.104. A mandatory site visit will be held on Tuesday, February 19, 2009 at the Piedmont Triad International Airport at 10:00 am. Candidates interested in participating shall contact Linda White at (336) 931-9602 to confirm their attendance in participating in the site visit by Thursday, February 12, 2009. The meeting location will be at the GSO onsite office area. No technical or contractual questions will be answered nor will any additional instruction outside the Statement of Work be provided on the site visit. Should a vendor have questions of either nature please direct them via email only to Jennifer.Springer@dhs.gov at the TSA HQ Office of Acquisition. It is anticipated that the RFP will be posted to FedBizopps via amendment to this notice no later than Tuesday, February 11, 2009.
