- Work consists of furnishing all plant, labor, materials, equipment and performing all work in strict accordance with those specifications, schedules and drawings forming parts thereof, for the Replacement of Hot Water System for Sections A, B, C and D in Building 36, St. Louis, MO. This is a project to repair by replacement, an existing oversized and deteriorated domestic hot water system with a new correctly sized system. This will be accomplished with the design and installation of a properly sized new heat exchanger, storage tank, lines and pumps. This system will provide domestic hot water for Sections A, B, C and D in Building 36. The new hot water system will be connected to provide back-up hot water for 36/E. The hot water heater in Room BC-26 will be relocated to Room BB-45 to provide back-up for Sections A, B, C and D in Building 36. Work shall include the replacement and removal of old piping still in place. Project will provide new water softeners where the water is being heated. The work shall be performed by a general or mechanical contractor who has 5 years experience in type of work to be performed. All work shall be accomplished in strict accordance with applicable NGA, EPA, NFPA, and OSHA requirements. The performance period for this project is 120 calendar days. The contractor shall be required to perform certain amount of work on premium time to eliminate disruption of Government services. The approximate cost of this project is between $250,000 and $500,000. This project is 100 percent set-aside for small business. The NAICS code for this project is 236220, size standard $33.5M. This work is located at the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency facilities at 3200 South Second Street, St. Louis, Missouri 63118.
