- Description
- The Department of Defense, Washington Headquarters Services, intends to solicit offers in response to Request for Proposal (RFP) HQ0034-09-R-3012 for refuse removal and disposal services at the Pentagon – Arlington, VA. The subject requirement will be procured as a total small business set aside. Work includes, but is not limited to, trash and refuse removal, transportation and disposal at appropriate landfills. All work shall be performed in accordance with the performance work statement incorporated in the request for proposal and the specifications that will be provided at time of solicitation issuance. The awarded contract will consist of a 12 month base period with four (4) 12-month option periods. Total contract period, to include options, shall not exceed fifty-seven (60) months. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 562111. The Small Business size standard is $11.5 million. There will be a scheduled site visit for this project. The time and date for the site visit will be stated in the RFP. This RFP will be issued in electronic format only and will be available on or about 24 December 2008 on Federal Business Opportunities (www.fbo.gov) and on the Washington Headquarters Services (WHS) Acquisition and Procurement (A&PO) website (www.whs.mil/apo).
