Description
The Fleet & Industrial Supply Center, Jacksonville, FL proposes to contract for the maintenance and repair of six SV 64 and six SV 33 Special Purpose Boats. Vessels will be home ported at the Naval Submarine Base, Kings Bay, Georgia. The base period of performance is 6 April through 30 September 2009 with four one year options. A total of twelve boats will be on board by May 2011. Work may include, but not limited to the following: performance of routine, corrective, preventative and predictive maintenance in accordance with the attached DRAFT Performance Work Statement and Attachments. Contractor will provide all life-cycle management and supply support over the duration of the contract period. The actual solicitation will be uploaded at a later date. All qualified and interested vendors are requested to review the attached PWS and attachments and submit questions in writing to Reggie Taylor, reginald.d.taylor@navy.mil NLT 1300, 18 February 2009. Answers to question w! ill be answered in an amendment to this notice and incorporated into the solicitations as appropriate. The requiring activity has scheduled an Industry Day at Naval Submarine Base, Kings Bay, Georgia, 24 February 2009, 0900. Due to the level of base security, the activity is limiting each vendor to one representative. Vendors planning to attend must contact Mr. Don Smith, (912) 573-0745, donald.smith@swflant.navy.mil or Mr. Bob Curran, (912) 573-1104, bcurran@spa.com for security requirement for access to Kings Bay Submarine Base. All attendees must meet Government Rep at the main gate NLT 0900.
