- The Regional Contracting Department, Fleet and Industrial Supply Center (FISC), Pearl Harbor Hawaii intends to negotiate a 100% Small Business Set-Aside, firm fixed price contract for the purchase of Hose Kits for the USS LAKE ERIE (CG-70) utilizing FAR Part 13.106-1(b)(1). Contract includes parts and freight charges from manufacturer/vendor direct to Pearl Harbor, HI. Award will be conducted under the provisions of FAR Part 12 Commercial Item and FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The prospective contractor must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR). This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the information in FAR Subpart 12.6 using Simplified Acquisition Procedures as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICIATION WILL NOT BE AVAILAB! LE. This combined synopsis/solicitation SHALL be posted on both FEDBIZOPPS and NECO (http://www.neco.navy.mil/). All prospective quoters are responsible for monitoring this site for the release of amendments (if any) or other information pertaining to this solicitation. The solicitation number is N00604-09-T-0217. This solicitation is being issued as a Request for Quotations (RFQs), for a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract incorporating provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-29, dated January 19, 2009 and DFARS Change Notice 20090915, dated September 15, 2009. It is the contractor's responsibility to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. The Regional Contracting Department, Pearl Harbor, Hawaii requests responses from re! sponsible sources for the following: ITEM 0001: (2) Hose Kits, P/N: CS9300278, Includes Cell #1 - P/N: 5982346-9 (8 EA), Cell #2 - P/N: 5982346-19 (8 EA), Cell #3 - P/N: 5982346-29 (8 EA), Cell #4 - P/N: 5982346-39 (8 EA), Cell #5 - P/N: 5982346-49 (8 EA), Cell #6 - P/N: 5982346-59 (7 EA), Cell #7 - P/N: 5982346-69 (7 EA), Cell #8 - P/N: 5982346-79 (7 EA), Total (61) Hoses. Each hose has 1 monel fitting and 1 aluminum fitting. Every hose is hydro-tested and tagged accordingly. REVIEW OF AGENCY PROTEST (FISCPH) (NOV 2004) (a) The contracting activity, Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, Pearl Harbor (FISCPH), will process agency protest in accordance with the requirements set forth in FAR 33.103 (d). (b) Pursuant to FAR 33.103 (d)(4), agency protests may be filed directly with the appropriate Reviewing Authority or a protester may appeal a decision rendered by a Contracting Officer to t! he Reviewing Authority.
