- PR Number: IQC08308009047 FSC: 5340 Nomenclature: Loop, Clamp RFP Issue Date: 02/20/2009 RFP Due Date: 03/31/2009 Loop, Clamp Items (Various) – 100% SMALL BUSINESS SET ASIDE, FSC 5340 – This procurement will be for a stock Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC) to be awarded under FAR 13.5 Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. The IQC will be for a two-year base period, with 1 one-year option. The procurement is for 172 competitive core NSNs. If need arises to add additional items this will be done on a post award basis via the Add/Delete Clause; the list of 710 non-core items is included in this presolicitation notice as an attachment. The first Core NSN is 5340000137735. Drawings will be available on the C file located on the following website: http://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil after solicitation opening date. The proposed contract is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. Interested parties may obtain copies of Military and Federal Specifications and Standards, Qualified Product Lists, Military Handbooks, and other standardization documents from the DoD Single Stock Point (DODSSP), in Philadelphia, PA. Most documents are available in Adobe PDF format from the ASSIST database via the Internet at http://assist.daps.dla.mil/ The proposed contract is restricted to domestic sources under the authority of FAR 6.302-3. Accordingly, foreign sources, except Canadian sources, are not eligible for award. The following is additional information: All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. After solicitation opening date, copies of the solicitation will be available on the DLA Internet Bid board System website https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil. Interested parties will be able to obtain and view all necessary information to respond to the solicitation. The required delivery schedule is 160 days after date of each order. The annual estimated quantity for the first NSN is 4000 EA. There are 171 additional NSNs with various quantities. Offers will be evaluated for past performance, using the Automated Best value System (ABVS) with technical factors more important than price. A single award will made for the total requirement for each item and DSCP reserves the right to award single items resulting from solicitation SPM5L5-09-R-0015 to multiple contractors. The anticipated award date is July 21, 2009.
