Description

This project includes furnishing all material and labor for the design and installation of a new HVAC system and moving all electrical equipment as required at the Cimarron Ranger District Office in Elkhart, KS. The system shall include energy saving techniques and designs, which will help reduce the operating cost of the system. The contactor shall incorporate the existing ductwork, if feasible, into their design. Upon acceptance of the contract, the contractor shall provide the USDA Forest Service with a complete and functional HVAC system, which includes moving all electrical panels to the new location. The Contractor shall provide a detailed design drawing showing the existing and new systems. The project is located at the Cimarron Ranger District Office, 242 Highway 56 East, Elkhart, Kansas 67950 The estimated starting date for this contract is April 13, 2009, with a completion date of approximately July 31, 2009. The contractor shall maintain progress at a rate that shall assure completion and acceptance of work within this time frame. Estimated dollar value of this contract is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.000. The solicitation will be restricted to small businesses. The small business size standard for this type of work (NAICS Code 238220) is $14.0 million.
