Description
The U.S. Department of Labor is seeking qualified general contractors who qualify under the Small Business Programs mentioned in the Federal Acquisition Regulation Subpart 19. When submitting your response, please indicate under which programs you meet the criteria. This is a SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT for planning purposes only. NO SOLICITATION DOCUMENT EXISTS. Market research is being conducted to determine if there are enough small business concerns with required capabilities and experience. The general scope of this requirement is several Firm-Fixed Price (FFP), Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Contracts for the repair and renovation, construction, and design-build services in support of U.S. Department of Labor, Office of Job Corps, for different Regions throughout the United States. Work may include, but is NOT limited to, roofing; HVAC; plumbing; building repairs; interior finishes, electrical; and fire alarm. Firms shall demonstrate in its statement of qualification its capacity to perform these required services. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 236220 (Commercial and Institutional Building Construction), and the Small Business Standard is $33.5 Million. All interested parties are invited to submit a capabilities statement to the U.S. Department of Labor, OASAM, BOC, OPS, Division of Job Corps A&E and Construction Services, 2200 Wilson Boulevard, Suite 102, Box 314, Arlington, Virginia 22201-3324. Responses are due by 4:00 PM EST March 11, 2009. No telephone calls will be accepted or returned. PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR A SF330 or PROPOSAL.
