- Description
- The Department of State intends to issue a Small Business competitive solicitation for classified waste disposal services at the Department of State, Washington, DC. The required services to be performed include the full range of operations, maintenance, repair and materials/supplies as needed required to dispose of classified waste, service the disintegrator equipment, to haul and dispose of the disintegrated classified waste, and other related services. The Contractor must have the expertise how to repair the equipment. The service provider and any prospective subcontractors will be required to posses a TOP SECRET level facility clearance prior to contract award, and must be able to obtain individual security clearances at the TOP SECRET (TS) level for all personnel assigned to the contract, and a Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) clearance for all employees will be required (TS/SCI). This acquisition will be advertised as a 100% Small Business set aside. The National American Industrial Classification Standard (NAICS) code for this procurement is 561210. The Request for Proposal (RFP) will require the submission of a technical proposal and price proposal. Evaluation and award will be on a best value basis. The solicitation will be issued via FEDBIZOPPS. NO PAPER COPIES will be mailed. Placement of a firm fixed priced (FFP) Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity type contract for a one-year base period, plus four (4) one-year options is anticipated. THIS PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE IS FOR NOTIFICATION PURPOSES ONLY. DO NOT SUBMIT ANY INFORMATION IN RESPONSE TO THIS PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE. OFFICIAL QUESITONS WILL BE TAKEN AFTER THE SOLICITATION HAS BEEN POSTED ON FEDBIZOPPS. ALL PROSPECTIVE CONTRACTORS MUST BE REGISTERED IN THE CENTRAL CONTRACTORS REGISTRATION (CCR) IN ORDER TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR AWARD.
