Description

The US Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), Detention Management (DM), Office of Acquisition (OAQ), intends to issue solicitation RFQ HSCEDM-09-R-00006 to maintain an on-site religious services program at the following 8 ICE Service Processing Centers: 1. Port Isabel SPC located in Los Fresnos, Texas 2. Batavia SPC located in Batavia, New York 3. Krome SPC located in Miami Florida 4. Aguadilla SPC located in San Juan PR 5. Florence SPC located in Florence AZ 6. El Centro SPC located in El Centro California 7. Varick SPC located New York, New York 8. El Paso SPC located in El Paso, TX. The Contractor will coordinate religious services for ICE detainees with a structured and consistent on-site religious program in accordance with the ICE National Detentions Standards. The Contractor’s religious service will provide detainees of recognized faith groups with reasonable and equitable opportunities to participate in the practices of their respective religious beliefs. The Contractor shall coordinate religious service, and administer a site religious program reporting to the Contracting Officer’s Technical Representative (COTR) or other assigned ICE official. The forthcoming solicitation will be made available on or about March 13, 2009, and will be distributed solely through the General Service Administration’s Federal Business Opportunities website http://www.fedbizopps.gov/ <http://www.fedbizopps.gov/>. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed solely through this website. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure they have the most up-to-date information about this solicitation. The anticipated date for receipt of all proposals is April 14, 2009.
