- The Department of Defense, Washington Headquarters Services, intends to solicit offers in response to Request for Proposal (RFP) HQ0034-08-R-1123 for preventative and corrective maintenance services at the Pentagon - Arlington, VA.. The subject requirement will be procured with out business size restrictions. Work includes, but is not limited to, regular inspection, maintaining, and repairing of Uninterruptable Power Supplies for the Pentagon. All work shall be performed in accordance with the performance work statement incorporated in the request for proposal and the specifications that will be provided at time of solicitation issuance. The awarded contract will consist of a 12 month base period with four (4) 12-month option periods. Total contract period, to include options, shall not exceed sixty (60) months. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 423610. The Small Business size standard is 100 employees. There will be a scheduled site visit for this project. The time and date for the site visit will be stated in the RFP. This RFP will be issued in electronic format only and will be available on or about 19 February 2009 on Federal Business Opportunities (www.fbo.gov) and on the Washington Headquarters Services (WHS) Acquisition and Procurement (A&PO) website (www.whs.mil/apo). Please be advised the 19 February 2009 date for solicitation posting is estimated and the actual posting date may be after the estimated date.
