Description
This requirement is for the overhaul of KC-135 MA-4 Coupling. The contractor shall provide all labor, facilities, equipment and all material to accomplish repair, test, packing, preservation and packaging of the KC-135 MA-4 Coupling. A firm fixed price requirement type contract is contemplated. Spec solicitation: FA8103-09-R-0014. The items and quantities are at follows: Item 0001: Overhaul NSN: 1680-99-663-6362FL, P/N: 61520-7, Basic year Qty: 7 each. Option I: 7 each, Option II: 6 each, Option III: 7 Option IV: 7 each. Item 0002: Data IAW DD1423 and Appendix B. Item 0003: Over and Above Work. Deliveries are to be in accordance with instructions received from the Production Management Specialist prior to shipment(s): 1 each 30 days after receipt of order or reparable. Award will be based on meeting our requirements and cannot be delayed pending qualifications of additional sources. APPROVED SOURCE is: Eaton Aerospace, Cage Code 86090. The approximate solicitation issue date will be 06 March 2009. Note: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from Offerors or potential Offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
