Description

HVAC Work - Federal Building, US Post Office & Courthouse, Kalamazoo, Michigan Z-- 238220 This solicitation will require the Contractor to provide all supervision, labor, tools, materials and equipment to remove existing asbestos covered supply and return ductwork and the supply fan for the air handling unit. The Contractor shall also install new interior insulated ductwork for the supply and return side of the system and one (1) new in-line supply fan. The term of the contract is 60 days from the date of award. The anticipated start date is May 1, 2009. This acquisition is a negotiated procurement set aside for small business concerns. NAICS is 238220 and the size standard is $14.0 million. This is a negotiated firm fixed price acquisition. The offeror will be required to submit a lump sum proposal for the project. Proposals will be evaluated on price. The solicitation will be issued on or about March 9, 2009; the actual date for receipt of proposals will be stated in the solicitation. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency.
