Description
This is a combined synopsis / solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The California National Guard has a requirement for coverall laundering services. A single Purchase Order will be issued for a period of 1 base year and 3 option years. Vendors will be required to provide approximately 1,158 cotton blend coveralls for rental and weekly laundering. Vendors must submit a sample of the coverall for approval before issuing out. Coveralls will be issued as 3 each per soldier and must be picked up weekly and exchanged for clean serviceable coveralls. Vendors will also be required to provide 200 each (per week) grade B or better shop towels with ATM dispenser, 4 each 4' x 6' floor mats for weekly rental, 33 each 3' x 4' floor mats for weekly rental, 28 each laundry bags with stand for weekly rental, and 36 each blue jackets for weekly laundering and rental. Vendors will be required to provide and attach name tags to uniforms and must include separate pricing in their proposal for that service. Services will be extended to 33 separate locations throughout California. Vendors must also bid to include all locations. Address and phone numbers for each location will be provided upon successful award of a contract. Upon award of contract, the vendor will be provided sizes and measurements for all coveralls and jackets immediately to ensure a timely dispursement of uniforms. Vendors must be able to begin issue of coveralls and weekly laundering services starting April 1, 2009. The following clauses and provisions are hereby incorporated into this solicitation: 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors, 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications. Vendors must submit their proposals to reflect WEEKLY pricing for the rental and laundering of each item. All vendors must be registered in the Central Contractors Registration (CCR).
