- The United States Coast Guard is considering whether or not to set aside an acquisition for HUBZone concerns, for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business Concerns (SDVOSB) or for Small Business Concerns. The Small Business Standard for NAICS Code 721110 is $7 Million. The acquisition requirement is for DINING AND LODGING services for the crew of the USCGC PEA ISLAND in Tampa, Florida. The performance period will be SIXTY (60) calendar days with a start date on or about 16 March 2009 through 15 May 2009. The Contractor shall provide dining and lodging for crew of USCGC Pea Island starting 16 March 2009 through 15 May 2009. The USCGC Pea Island will be located at Riverhawk Marine, Inc. 5251 W. Tyson Ave, Tampa, Florida 33611. The Contractor shall provide quality temporary lodging and healthy, appetizing, and nutritious dining (including staff gratuities) for Coast Guard personnel within a 10-mile radius of the Contractor’s facility. The Contractor shall provide 4 single rooms and 7 double rooms for the specified period of 16 March 2009 through 15 May 2009. The USCG is performing market research to identify sources capable of providing this procurement. The solicitation or intent to contract will be release on Federal Business Opportunities. The applicable North American Industry Classification Standard (NAICS) Code is 721110, and the Small Business Standard is $7.0 million. A set-aside determination has not yet been made. Interested parties should submit a brief description of their capability to meet the requirements and business size. The business size shall include any applicable preference program (e.g., 8a, HUBZone, Service Disabled Veteran Owned, or Small Business Concern). Interested parties should provide proof of their capabilities and or purchase orders. Your response to this notice is required by February 27, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. E.S.T. and may be submitted via email or facsimile to 757-628-4676.
