Description

The current contract is in effect until June 2009. The U.S. Special Operations Command, Technology Applications Contracting Office, intends to award a contract to Rockwell Collins Government Systems, 400 Collins Road NE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52498 for the sustainment and enhancement of the Cockpit Management System (CMS) and Common Avionics Architecture System (CAAS) software. The Government intends to award a 5 year contract for the sustainment and enhancement of the CMS and CAAS software on an other than full and open basis. The contract will procure software upgrades to provide additional capabilities and functionality, as well as troubleshoot and repair existing software deficiencies for currently fielded operational systems. Software will be delivered to support aircraft primarily at Ft. Campbell, KY. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302-1. This notice of intent is not a request for a competitive quote; however, all responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered. The North American Industrial Classification Code is 334511.
