Description

The USDA Forest Service, Hiawatha National Forest, intends to issue a solicitation for the reconstruction of FR2231 Station 10+00 to Station 188+50 in Michigan's eastern upper peninsula. The project involves replacement of existing culverts, reconstruction of Forest Road 2231, paving, and placement of slope protection. It is estimated between $600,000 and $900,000 and must be completed by November 5, 2009. Offer guarantee, performance and payment bonds, CCR, and ORCA are all required. This will be a hubzone set-aside best value award. All pertinent documents will be posted electronically at the FBO web site.
