- ***ESTIMATED ISSUE DATE Electronically in Federal Business Opportunities March 12, 2009. *** The Contractor shall furnish the necessary personnel, material, equipment, services and facilities (except as otherwise specified), to perform the Statement of Work/Specifications. Work includes: Three failed steel pipe culverts to be replaced with a pre-cast concrete bottomless box culvert with wingwalls,and poured in place footings and two aluminum alloy structural plate arches on poured-in-place concrete footings. The Road will be conditionaly closed and gated. Simulated streambed rock will be placed inside the structures and the adjacent stream channel, then shaped to simulate a natural channel. Rock Steps will be constructed in two of the aluminum alloy arch channels. Large riprap is to be placed at the corners of the culverts. Stringent dewatering, erosion and sediment control measures will be required. The roadway will be reestablished to the existing alignement, and the aggregate surfacing replaced. The concrete box will have an asphalt surface. Project is on the BLM Eugene District, Siuslaw Resource Area, Lane County, Oregon and will be Administered by the Willamette National Forest. The project is approximately 20 miles North of Eugene and 10 miles West of Lorane (Oregon) along Rd 4380 (Siuslaw River Road) and 3.2 miles inland on Doe Creek BLM Road No. 20-6-11. Government’s estimate is between $250,000 and $500,000. This proposed procurement listed herein is set-aside for HUBZone firms in accordance with the Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone) Act of 1997.
