Description

The 15th Contracting Squadron intends to award a Sole Source contract to ProQuest LLC for the purchase of access to current and archival academic journals as well as national and international newspapers. ProQuest covers a wide range of subject areas including, but not limited to, national and international security, government, and defense in the US and the Asia-Pacific arena. It is the belief of the 15th Contracting Squadron that ProQuest LLC is the only publisher and distributor for access to current, archival academic journals, and national/international newspapers that can meet our needs. There are no other resellers or distributors. The period of performance will be for eleven (11) months starting March 1, 2009. The Government will consider all responses but a determination by the Government not to compete this action is solely under the discretion of the Government. This action is under the authority of 10 USC 2304(c) (1), as set forth in FAR 6.302-1. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or service will satisfy agency requirements. A copy of the Sole Source Justification is available upon request.
