Description
PR No: 0020937454; This solicitation will contain 1 NSN for a Seal Air Aircraft G. This solicitation is for award of a Large Firm Fixed contract with 100% option. The OEM is General Electric Company (99207 & 03350). There are five OEM approved sources of supply: TSS Technologies, cage 28884, Moeller Mfg Company 08244, Electro-Methods Inc, cage 33617, Union Machine Company cage 51992 and Aircraft Precision Products, cage 97123. The NSN, Part Number, and Quantity are as follows: 2840-00-907-1414; P/N 4003T01P01, total quantity requested: 132 ea/ 264 Max, Government First Article applies; Delivery: FOB Destination, 397 days AFFA. Specifications, Plans or Drawings related to the procurement described are not available and cannot be furnished by the Government. The anticipated issue dated is on or about 03/17/09. The final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. The anticipated award date is 06/26/09. The proposed contract is 100% set aside for small business concerns. Award will be made only if the offeror, the product/service or the manufacturer meets qualification requirement at time of award, in accordance with FAR clause 52.209-1 or 52.209-2. The solicitation identifies the office where additional information can be obtained concerning qualification requirements and is cited in each individual solicitation. Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice.
