Description
The National Institutes of Health (NIH), National Library of Medicine (NLM) intends to procure the AKTA Purifier 100 w/desktop control, to include: PH/C-900 monitor, Conductivity Cell, PH/C-900, PH Electrode, Round Tip, Dummy PH Electrode, Air Sensor Kit, FRAC-920 Fraction Collector, Flow Diversion Valve FV-923 on a limited source basis with GE Healthcare Biosciences, 800 Centennial Avenue, Piscataway, NJ 08855. This procurement is to be processed using Simplified Acquisition Procedures in conjunction with FAR part 13. In order to replicate experimental procedures and follow established protocols, this equipment must be procured from GE Healthcare Biosciences. In addition, GE Healthcare Bio-Sciences is the sole distributor of this product. Therefore, only one responsible source and no other equipment will satisfy agency requirements. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals; however, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. The Government will consider all responses received before the closing date of this announcement. It is anticipated that Request for Quotation (RFQ), NIHLM2009020 will be available fifteen days (15) after the publication of this synopsis. Receipt of quotations will be due five (5) days after the release of the RFQ. Request for copies of the RFQ must be in writing to the NIDDK Acquisitions Branch, National Library of Medicine, 6707 Democracy Blvd., Room 770B, Bethesda, MD, 20817 Attention: Lisa Josephowitz, josephol@mail.nih.gov FAX quotations must contain offerors names, address, telephone and fax number. FAX quotations will only be accepted if dated and signed by an authorized company representative.
