- Description
- The Social Security Administration (SSA), Region II has a requirement for a hotel that can provide the necessary services for a Leadership Conference to be held in either the five boroughs of Manhattan, Nassau County, NY, Westchester County, NY, Hudson County, NJ, or Middlesex County, NY during the week of June 22, 2009. The conference shall start on Monday June 22, 2009 and conclude at noon on Thursday June 25, 2009 or begin on Tuesday June 23, 2009 and conclude on Friday June 26, 2009. The facility must be able to accommodate at least 175 participants with one general meeting room and five breakout rooms, catering services, plus a total of 525 sleeping room nights for the dates of the conference at a per room rate equal to or less than the federal per diem rate per night. The facility must be FEMA/USFA approved and ADA compliant pursuant to 28 CFR Part 36. Prospective contractors shall be registered in the Central Contractor Registration database prior to award of a contract. Information regarding this registration can be found at http://www.ccr.gov. Offerors will be required to complete either a paper copy of the Offeror Representations and Certifications or may complete them online at http://orca.bpn.gov in responding to this requirement. This acquisition is being conducted under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 regarding the acquisition of commercial items. This is a non set-aside. The North American Industry Code (NAICS) is 721110. The solicitation number SSA-RFQ-02-09-5000 will be available for downloading on http://www.fbo.gov on or about February 27, 2009.
