Description
The Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation (PBGC) is a wholly-owned United States government corporation and agency of the United States created under Title IV of the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974 (ERISA) to administer the federal pension insurance programs and enforce compliance with the provisions of Title IV. The specific objective of the proposed contract is to provide actuarial support type services to the Appeals Division (AD) and Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation. This requirement is being issued as unrestricted, and for a single award. The NAICS code is 525110, Pension Funds. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered. The solicitation will be awarded as a labor hour contract. All responsible sources must be registered in the CCR, in order to be eligible for an award. Contractors can register online at this website; https://www.ccr.gov/. The resultant contract will be a labor hour contract with a base year of twelve (12) months and four (4) option periods of twelve (12) months each. The solicitation and any amendments will be electronically distributed and available for printing at the following website https://www.fbo.gov/ It is anticipated that the solicitation will be issued on/around March 27, 2009. The award date is anticipated to be on/around July 2009. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the site to assure they have the most up to date information about this acquisition. Paper copies of the solicitation and any amendments will not be distributed. Upon issuance of the solicitation via https://www.fbo.gov, the Question and Answer (Q&A) period begins, and the all questions must be submitted to the contracting office within 5 days after solicitation posting eastern standard time. Other inquires regarding this solicitation must be sent to the Contract Specialist.
